HAVE A REASON | 2012

The installation ‘Have a Reason’ was exhibited in the Group Exhibition “Propaganda” in 2012 at Gallery Daeppen.

“Have a Reason” is about how insidiously we adopt simple and demagogic messages conveyed to us by all types of societal institutions, be it governmental, religious or private, and behave accordingly.

A large number of photographs, photo collages, a window sticker and a large wall sticker make up part of this installation together with three simultaneously running slide shows displayed on TVs. They show an abundance of images of Sao Paulo and other places in Brazil.
